Workshop
Osca branded tools are entirely designed, manufactured and tested in our company, where every single step of the production process is followed by our experienced and qualified staff.
Our workshops are recognized for carrying out the most severe quality control tests in accordance with ISO 9001 standards, that guarantee the respect of the strictest safety and reliability standards. All our products are therefore in line with the current international regulations in this field.
In particular, for each type of tool, the following standards are complied with.
Hammer and sledge hammer heads: Din 1041 – 5109 – 6475 – 5130 – 5136 – 7239 – Bs 876.4 – Uni 655.0 – 664.0
Handles: Din 5111.01 – 5111.02 – 5135.01 – 5135.02 – Bs 876.4

Raw materials
In accordance with a company philosophy seeking excellence in every single step of its production process, Officine di Cortenova choose – for Osca branded tools – only raw materials able to guarantee extremely high standards.
All materials processed in our facilities are selected for their highest quality and great ability to withstand stress and wear. The result is durable products, always able to ensure optimum performance for any use.
Steel
Our products are made of induction-hardened C45 steel.
Copper
For our tools, we use double work-hardened copper, with Brinell hardness 80/100 and cold working.
Aluminium
For our products, we use aluminium alloys with Brinell hardness 80/100.
Wood
The handles of our tools are made of high quality hickory or ash wood.
